Why does everyone assume UFOs and abductions are tied to beings from outer space?


For all anyone knows, the things they think are "aliens" could come from the bottom of Earth's deepest oceans.
Humans know more about the moon than the ocean. And 50% of the moon has never been seen.

Maybe UFOs are multi-functional but were originally designed to travel through water...and that's why they're super fast in the air.

Atlantis supposedly sunk.
How come no one believes "alien/UFO sightings" have something to do with a lost ancient civilization with advanced technology that maybe didn't get wiped out. They could be on the ocean floor using the volcanic sea vents for a power source.

Since there's virtually no light at the bottom of the ocean maybe that's why "Aliens" have huge eyes. It was an adaptation.
It could also explain the spotlight of the UFO.
They're probably covered in spotlights, or can use it in any direction.

It wouldn't surprise me if witnesses have described a blazingly bright light. The bottom of the sea is dark, and if you're traveling relatively fast down there, you'd need to see significantly far in front of your vessel.
